If I Could
There's no reason
For you to lose your mind
Cuz, I've seen something
That's gonna change our time
If I could
I'd make you understand
If I could
I'd make you understand
There's no hurry
It's gonna come for sure
Cuz, I know that someday
We're gonna end our war
If I could
I'd make you understand
If I could
I'd make you understand
If I could...
If I could I would now...
If I could
I'd make you understand
If I could
Then I'd make you understand
There's no reason
For you to lose your mind
Cuz I've seen something
That's gonna change our time
If I could
If I could
And, if I could
If I could I would now baby!
If I could I would...
-Seal
Seem's pretty simple, but singing this to Ian calms him more than anything else I've tried. No song, no food. No patting of his little bottom. No walking around the house, no leaning to and fro.
This song. So simple. Time and again.
Simple...

Ah! The simple is the best...like a wonderful breeze and sails trimmed, good friend/spouse/family and a brilliant sunset...simple and rare. And so we are joyous in the beauty of the simple moments, events, words, tunes...Yes, the simple singing to help precious one to be at peace...
